Another great advantage of the location are its excellent civic amenities.
Comfortable shopping options are available near the residence at large shopping centres such as BILLA Prosek, TESCO Letňany and GLOBUS Čakovice. BILLA in Prosek (2 km) can be reached in about 3 minutes by car (it could be even faster if not for the police radar on Vysočanská). TESCO in Letňany can be reached in about 5 minutes by car.
Children can attend the preschools, primary and secondary schools that are available in the vicinity. The nearest preschool, Litvínovská, is located a mere 200 m from the residence. Several primary schools with various specialisations (languages, IT, etc.) are available within 500 m to 1 km. There are many sports teams in the area that children can join according to their interests.
Recreation and entertainment is available at Aquacentrum Lagoon, the Ice Rink in Letňany, the Prosek Bobsleigh Track, Sportcentrum Duo Praha, Sport Centrum Prosek and other sports facilities and playgrounds (see here). The Aquacentrum and the Ice Rink (about 3.5 km) can be reached in about 5 minutes by car.
Health care facilities are available at Poliklinika Prosek (Prosek Medical Centre), located just 700 m (two bus stops or 1 minute by car) from the residence. If the medical centre is insufficient, the Bulovka Teaching Hospital is about 3 minutes (2.6 km) away.
Last but not least, the Ďáblice Forest, one of Prague’s largest forest areas spanning 57 hectares, is located less than 2.5 km from the project to the northwest.
