At yesterday evening’s nomination event for the nationwide Construction of the Year 2013 competition, ART Rezidence Střížkov received a total of three prestigious awards – the most for any of this year’s constructions: the Prize of the Union of Entrepreneurs in Construction in the Czech Republic, the Prize of the State Fund for Housing Development, and a nomination for the title of Construction of the Year 2013. We are very happy to have received these extraordinary awards from the expert public for the value and quality of our project, and we appreciate them very much. The nationwide Construction of the Year 2013 competition is held under the patronage of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of the Environment, and other professional institutions.

ART Rezidence Střížkov is now offering for lease a commercial space accessible from Teplická Street with a total area of 94 m2 incl. lavatory facilities. The space includes a parking place in the building’s ground floor.

In view of the ART Rezidence Střížkov project’s successful course of realisation hitherto, a decision has been made to enhance the standard of the walkable layer of outdoor terraces. The standardly recommended solution using classic ceramic tiles will be replaced by a walkable layer of planks made of composite materials placed on wooden decking made from tropical woody species. This solution for terraces is currently considered to be the highest standard available. Thus, the terrace is not sloped, but completely flat; the surface is very agreeable for walking and is visually pleasing as well. Moreover, the use of planks made from composites (a special material with balanced proportions of maple wood and composite plastics in a 50%/50% ratio) guarantees their constancy, stability and durability. Unlike tropical wood, no warping or greying occurs, nor is any maintenance necessary. Also, regarding the selection of a specific type of composite product, a higher-quality solid profile was chosen instead of a hollow one, and American producer Fiberon – one of the world’s top manufacturers – was selected. Another indisputable and significant advantage of this solution is the ability to repair easily the hydro-insulation layer in the event of possible damage.

At the ART Rezidence construction site, realisation of the final coloured layer of the façade is already in full swing, and the building is beginning to acquire its unique colour design, consisting of a continuous transition from blue in the highest floors to green in the lowest.

The construction crane has already been disassembled at the ART Rezidence Střížkov site, which is a sign that construction is slowly moving into its final phase. The final work is underway, in particular relating to the bathrooms and the façade.

At the ART Rezidence Střížkov site, all indoor utility installations in apartments have been completed, and subsequently also indoor plastering.

The ART Rezidence Střížkov project has passed another milestone by completing a model apartment. Until now, the high level of standards used and the quality of the project’s construction have merely been declared. The ART Rezidence Střížkov project has passed another significant milestone in its realisation. By completing the cement shell of the last, i.e. 13th, above-ground floor, the building’s load-bearing structure has been completed.

The 12th above-ground floor has been completed at the ART Rezidence Střížkov site.

The 11th above-ground floor has been completed at the ART Rezidence Střížkov site. Also, the realisation of all technical installations in the building is now in full swing. The installation of windows is already on the 6th floor.

Work has already commenced on the 8th above-ground floor at the ART Rezidence Střížkov site. In addition to realising the shell construction, work in the individual crafts has already commenced as well.

Today, the first loan draw was realised and the entire project is now financed exclusively by the company UniCredit Bank.

Construction work at the ART Rezidence Střížkov site is already underway on the 7th above-ground floor. Together with the monolithic reinforced concrete constructions, the brickwork on the external cladding and the internal dividing walls are being realised as well.

The 4th above-ground floor has been completed at the ART Rezidence Střížkov site. The building shell is already half complete – ahead of the contractual schedule.

At the ART REZIDENCE Střížkov site, the monolithic ceiling constructions of the 3rd above-ground floor are being completed.

At the ART REZIDENCE Střížkov site, the monolithic constructions of the 1st above-ground floor have been completed, and work has commenced on the walls of the 2nd above-ground floor.

At the ART Rezidence site, the ceiling of the 1st underground floor is being completed, and the monolithic constructions of the 1st above-ground floor are being realised as well. The project has thus successfully climbed above ground level.

At the ART Rezidence site, the monolithic constructions of the 2nd underground floor have been completed, and work has commenced on mounting the rebar for the 1st underground floor.

The ART Rezidence Střížkov site is currently in a phase where the 3rd underground floor has been completed and realisation of the monolithic constructions of the 2nd underground floor is at an advanced stage.

The ART Rezidence Střížkov site is currently in a phase where the slab foundation has been completed and realisation of the walls of the lowest underground floor has commenced.

Excavation of the foundation pit has been successfully completed to the level of the deepest floor, i.e. the 3rd underground floor.

The building’s pile foundation was completed successfully, and thus excavation of the foundation pit has been launched. The pit is being secured by a shear wall.

The building’s pile foundation is presently being realised. Large-diameter piles are being bored and filled with concrete.

Today the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of the ART Rezidence Střížkov project took place, attended by representatives of the developer and the Metrostav construction company.

The company METROSTAV has launched construction of the ART Rezidence Střížkov project with the demolition of the original building.

Construction company METROSTAV, a.s. has become the general supplier of the construction. With the conclusion of a contract with METROSTAV, a.s., construction of the ART Rezidence Střížkov project was officially launched. METROSTAV, a.s., presently one of the largest companies on the construction market, is a robust guarantee of the project’s high quality and timely completion.

Today, all remaining floors were released for sale, i.e. the 11th through 13th above-ground floors.

At present, the 2nd round of the selection process is underway for a general construction supplier for the ART Rezidence Střížkov project.

In view of the already-limited offerings in the small apartment segment, the 10th floor of the building was released for sale today, which will again replenish the offerings of small apartments.

On 22 October 2010, a business cooperation contract was concluded between the developer and the company ProCeram, a.s., which will provide complete client service in the area of bathroom designs and amenities for the project.

In view of the project’s positive progress, a decision has been made to enhance the standard of heating in individual apartments. Each apartment will have its own facilities for autonomously heating water and regulating the heating system, making it possible to set any of these functionalities individually and to heat water with exact measurements of consumed heat and consumed cold water. Regulation of the heating system in the apartment will be accomplished using a portable thermostat (with wireless data transfer) that can be programmed with times and temperatures. This enhanced level of heating comfort will be realised in all apartments as standard equipment.

In the selection process for a supplier of two lifts for the ART REZIDENCE STŘÍŽKOV project, the offer of the company SCHINDLER was chosen as the most suitable. The selected class 3300 lifts have unusually spacious cabins for the given shaft size, very quiet yet fast operation, and a refreshingly elegant design. Operating costs were an important criterion for their selection, as were electricity consumption and warranty- and post-warranty service, which were unequivocally the most favourable among the contenders.

Today our planned offer benefiting the project’s first clients was launched. A quite extraordinary discount will be provided according to the apartment’s size on the first twelve apartments sold. Following the sale or reservation of the first twelve apartments, this offer will automatically terminate and the discount on the remaining apartments will be withdrawn.

In connection with the launch of sales, a quite extraordinary and unrepeatable discount for the project’s first clients will be published on its web site. The offer will become invalid automatically once a certain number of discounted apartments have been sold.
